PMQs: Summary

Tributes were paid to Colour Serjeant Kevin Fortuna, Rifleman Martin Lamb, Lt Oliver Augustin, Marine Sam Alexander, Lance Corporal Martin Gill, Corporal Michael Pike who fell in Afghanistan.

There was an open goal for Ed Miliband who led on u-turns – Ken Clarke’s sentencing policies and Lansley’s health plans. He missed. Miliband occasionally flashes signs of growing into the job but they don’t last. He has the underlying manner of a diffident schoolboy and Labour will never win another election with him at the helm – let’s hope they keep him. Bercow called on Cameron to withdraw a remark about the NHS, which he didn’t, but I’m afraid I missed it! I’ll try to find some videos later.
