Cameron 8/1 to quit

I find this amazing. As a result of the NotW fallout the odds on Cameron being the next Cabinet Minister to quit have dropped from 100/1 to 8/1 in little more than a week according to Ladbroke’s. The policies would remain the same so what would be the point? If he’s done something wrong re Coulson, so what? Look at Blair who shredded his expenses details prior to scrutiny, look at Brown! Changing the monkey won’t change the organ grinder’s tune.

Shouldn’t we be taking a deep breath and standing back for a minute or two? There’s a whiff of hysteria now and it will go into overdrive this afternoon when Brooks and the Murdochs appear before the Select Committee. I’m beginning to wish I’d booked a week’s holiday and taken myself off to a desert island where I could avoid all the self-absorbed commentary from the msm.

(Ladbroke’s site is down for maintenance at the moment – should be back soon).
