  1. Lovely! I know this piece as 'Kemp's Jig', from the man who played is as he danced from Lincoln to London – I didn't realise it was 13th century; it sounds very 'Tudor-robust' to me!

    Whatever it is, it was a delight to hear it again – it used to be a favourite of an old medieval-music band named Gryphon or Griffin – I'm not certain of the spelling.
